VINYASA
A dynamic and creative practice that links the movement of your body with breath. Moving in an intentional crafted sequence, you will move from pose to pose, creating natural heat in your body to increase circulation and build strength, stamina and cardiovascular fitness. There will also be opportunities for meditation, pranayama (breathwork) and yoga philosophy. All levels of students are welcome. Please advise the teacher if you are new, pregnant or need help modifying your practice.
SLOW FLOW
A slower movement practice that is intelligently crafted and may include aspects of breath, meditation, yoga philosophy or mantra. Postures may be held for longer periods and the transitions are a little slower, leaving you feeling strong, calm and balanced. This class is great for newer students or anyone looking to slow it down and sink deeper into their practice. All levels of students are welcome.
YIN
A slow mindful practice where postures are held for longer periods of time with the support of props to allow a deeper opening of the body. We open the connective tissues of our body including fascia, ligaments, joints and bones. Yin that works from a place of calm and surrendering to gravity: the perfect balance to a more dynamic Yoga practice. This is also a great opportunity to slow down, increase flexibility physically and mentally and to revitalise physically and mentally. All levels of students are welcome.
YIN JOURNEYS
2 hours of time for your self care. Moving through a journey, we start with pranayama (breath practise) followed by Yin postures and a long luxurious Savasana. Immerse yourself in a bubble of restoration and grounding. This is a beautiful opportunity to breathe and pause. Postures are held for longer periods of time with the support of props to allow a deeper opening of the body. This approach promotes access to a deep state of relaxation, increase in flexibility both physically and mentally and and to revitalise physically and mentally. Come along to be guided through a journey of yourself. All levels of students are welcome.
YOGA NIDRA
Yoga Nidra is an ancient technique of guided meditation where you enter into deep states of consciousness between sleeping and wake states. It allows for deep rest and peace and is sometimes known as “the yoga of sleep” or “yogic sleep”. It is said that 30 minutes of accessing the state of Yoga Nidra is approximately equivalent to 2-4 hours of sleep. It is a systematic practice of moving awareness from our external world to the inner world. Yoga Nidra helps to rejuvenate the body, reduce stress, improve concentration, improve memory and help the nervous system function. All levels of students are welcome.
FOUNDATIONS YOGA
Returning to the fundamental at any stage of your journey as a yogi is an important part of integrating, building and continuing to grow. This class will focus on deepening your practice as an experienced yogi, a beginner or anywhere in between. This class will include key principles to support your confidence and growth at any stage of your practice. Numbers are limited for this class. We’d like to keep it small and intimate to ensure each student receives support as needed and to specifically tailor it to the classes needs.
